Welcome to the Horton Bull Run Website! Is the 22nd April 2018. The Horton Bull Runs are bi-annual events located in the picturesque South Gloucestershire village of Horton. And the surrounding countryside, this being set within the Cotswolds and adjacent to both Bristol and Bath. Traditionally held in April, is a road run catering for all abilities.
The trials and tribulations of city running and exploring the countryside. Friday, 18 May 2012. A new running group for women has been set up in Brislington. The ladies who set up Frenchay Runners. Have now set up Brislington Runners. I went along to their first meet on Saturday. It was a gloriously sunny morning and a number of ladies of all abilities turned up at the Arnos Vale Hotel. Juneathon 2015 Day 30 Juneathon Ends, The Heat Wave Begins. I worked a 16 hour day today and arrived home with only an hour of full daylight left. I was also running on empty having not eaten since 9am. I opted for a 5. 5 mile gentle cycle ride, seeing out Juneathon with a whimper rather than a bang. I was glad to be exercising in the evening too as the heat wave started today and lunchtime would have been too warm for me.
